Getting Married in North Bay: Who to Call First

Planning a wedding from North Bay means a short list of local people who do this every week. These are the ones we have met.
The officiant: Heart to Heart Celebrations
David Lock has married, baptized and celebrated North Bay families for more than fifty five years. Elopements are his specialty: pick a place, bring a witness or two, say the words, and it is official. He and his wife Tina also run a drive through wedding chapel from their place in North Bay. He handles the licence paperwork with you and follows up after the wedding to help with the marriage certificate.
The food: Cater Connect
Cater Connect is Linda Nardilli Morrin, Pasta Hostess since 2012. You tell her your food dream, the date, place, numbers and allergies, and she sends the brief to her caterer contacts and brings back the quotes with everything spelled out. Small jobs, such as a rehearsal dinner, she still cooks herself. Her two questions to ask any caterer: what exactly is in the price, and how do they handle allergies.
The photos: PhotoMill Photography
PhotoMill Photography is Merissa Mills, who shoots weddings and vow renewals outdoors or from a mobile studio that sets up in your living room in about half an hour. Anywhere within an hour of North Bay has no travel fee. Expect your wedding gallery in about three months, because she goes through every frame.
The flowers: Rose Bowl Florist 2.0
Rose Bowl Florist 2.0 has been a North Bay flower shop since the Jones family opened it in 1962. They do wedding flowers, prom corsages and custom arrangements, send you a photo of the finished arrangement before it leaves the shop, and deliver across the area.
The cake: All Things Lovely Cheesecakes
All Things Lovely Cheesecakes does wedding and event cheesecakes alongside the weekly minis. Full cakes come in 6, 8 and 9 inch rounds. Give Melissa a week's notice.
The morning of: Brea's Beauty Boutique
Brea's Beauty Boutique is Brea Page, doing nails, lashes, facials and waxing in unrushed appointments. Weekdays run 8am to 9pm from October, and weekends are kept for group events such as wedding parties.
